Stanley Nelson’s documentary, Sweet Honey In The Rock: Raise Your Voice debuts on the PBS program American Masters. Sweet Honey members appear at several screenings of the film, including the AFI Silver Docs Festival, the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center, and a special showing at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History.

Release of live soundtrack recording of Sweet Honey In The Rock:  Raise Your Voice, on the Earthbeat! label.

Commissioned to compose choral work for the 40th anniversary of the Washington Performing Arts Society.

Sweet Honey appears on Jack’s Big Music Show, a live-action T.V. show for kids on Nickelodeon’s NOGGIN channel.
